My stay at Hoshino Resorts Aomoriya was quite nice. the Unkan room offered stunning views and a luxurious in-room onsen experience. The dining options were varied but could use a bit of enhancement, especially at the buffet. Overall, I relished the resort's facilities and activities, though some were left unexplored due to time constraints.

I absolutely loved our Unkan room on the 12th floor. it was spacious with an in-room onsen, a double sink, and a lovely balcony. The bathroom amenities were great, making the experience all the more enjoyable.

The setting of the resort was beautiful, right next to a pond. they also provided a shuttle service from the station, which made getting there easy. I enjoyed exploring the area on foot.

Dining experiences were a mixed bag. the buffet was diverse with both Western and Japanese options, but I found the first night’s dinner to be underwhelming despite the entertaining drum dance performance.

The resort had plenty of facilities. I loved the activities available, including horse carriage rides and outdoor onsens. There was so much to do, though I wish I had time to try everything.

I had a wonderful stay at Hoshino Resorts Aomoriya, where the spacious room and excellent dining truly impressed me. While the noise level was a bit bothersome at times, the overall serene atmosphere and great onsen experience made up for it. I would highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for relaxation and a taste of traditional Japanese hospitality.

My room was spacious and beautifully designed, allowing for a comfortable stay. I appreciated the lack of air conditioning since I could simply open the window for fresh air (screens were a nice touch to keep bugs out!). The only downside was occasional noise from the hallway, especially being near the elevators and vending machines.
Service

The staff were friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome right from check-in. They collected my passport and luggage, and even guided me around the resort, which was a lovely touch. However, I did notice that somewhat busy times might affect their efficiency, causing minor inconveniences.

The onsen facilities were a standout feature, with both indoor and outdoor options available almost all day (which I loved!). The outdoor area, lit by beautiful lanterns, created a relaxing ambiance perfect for unwinding after a long day. I also tried the massage service, which was a comforting addition to my stay.

I greatly enjoyed the local entertainment during dinner, which showcased Aomori's cultural richness. Overall, I would recommend this resort, particularly for those interested in traditional Japanese hospitality.

I had a generally enjoyable stay at Hoshino Resorts Aomoriya, with its spacious rooms and beautiful setting near a lake. but the service could be better, and I found the buffet dinner overpriced. The outdoor onsen was a highlight, offering a soothing experience under the stars.

My room was large, modern, and clean with a lovely view of the streams. though the windows were a bit dirty. It featured a tatami area and came with standard yukata for use around the resort.
Service

The service was somewhat hit or miss. while I encountered a kind staff member who helped me when my friend was unwell, check-in was quite slow, taking around 30 minutes.

The resort is beautifully situated in a park with a lake and walking trails. it's just an hour by bus from Hachinohe Station, and the free shuttle service made it easy to reach.

The buffet had a wide variety of options, including western and Japanese dishes. but I felt it was overpriced for the experience. The food quality was average, though the seafood bowls in the bar area were enticing.

The onsen facilities were wonderful, with both indoor and outdoor options. however, accessing the outdoor pool in the evening was disappointing due to overcrowding.
